REVIEW
The idea for this related album section popped into my head when I bought this album in a Main Line vinyl store, but it's been so long since I've listened to it that I can't even write a proper review. The band is mostly made up of Ellis expatriots, and, according to the liner notes, they actually existed as a real working band for a while. Though the album sounds like it was recorded at a club, it is actually one of those "live in the studio" thingies that were prominent in the late 60s (Cannonball Adderley's "Mercy Mercy Mercy" is a good example).

The first and last songs have some cool musique concrete sections, where Paul Beaver randomly starts playing some weird, pre-recorded sounds on a tape machine. Other than that, I'm blanking out. It's good though, and you should pick it up if you see it, despite the awful cover photo.
