REVIEW
Don plunges into some more Russell material. Dave Baker doesn't have the same
fire he has on Ezz-thetics, and Dolphy's presence
is missed somewhat, but this is still a good album. Highlights include the ridiculously
complex title track (which has some impressive free-time unison horn work), "Pan-Daddy,"
and "Blues in Orbit." It takes a certain discipline to play this type
of music, and Don more than meets the challenge.
